The car seat reviews for this product looked great online but when I got it, I was a little leery because it seemed bigger and bulkier than what I was expecting. I purchased the car seat for my 13-mth old and, according to the new recommendations, planned on installing it rear-facing so she could continue riding that way until she is 2. However, when I lined up the marker on the seat to be parallel to the ground, it was way too far reclined for what I thought was correct. So I made an appointment with the local Safe Kids, which I HIGHLY recommend everyone do the first time they are getting a new car seat installed. So far, this carseat is working out well for our 15-month old, facing backward. I was unable to get it installed tightly, but taking it to a firestation and having their help made all the difference. It is solid, and our child seems to like the side panels for napping.

the seat is great - our 9 month old daughter seems very comfortable, the weight limits mean we can use it 'til she's 4 or 5, we know she's safe, and width-wise it fits really nicely in our '08 camry.
the problem is that she's rear-facing, and will be until she hits the rf weight limit (40lbs!) and in our '08 camry, rear-facing the complete air 65 takes up the entire passenger side of the car. the front passenger seat is 4" away from the glove compartment. my husband has to sit behind me in the back seat.
not sure how to solve the problem, but definitely measure the available space in your car or minivan (or watch some videos online) before buying this seat.
